Some possible topics that we might broach:
- the types of games that the people in the LAN centers play
- -> is there a particular kind of game that they play? it might be due to cultural proximity (possible rise of Korean online games)
- discussion on the role of games in childhood and how it has evolved
- if we can come up with a concrete connection with korea gaming and Singaporeans/Asia, we can talk about Korea's connection with the rest of Asia (similar to Karaoke)
- form of popular vs mass culture?
- applying Travel Theory?
- Localization vs hegemony
